Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.Research Articles
Research Articles
Maximum length: 20 pages, including tables, figures, and reference list. The article must strictly adhere to the characteristics of empirical articles as defined by the American Psychological Association, both in terms of required sections and formatting guidelines.
In general, the manuscript should include a theoretical introduction that presents the problem, provides a review of the relevant literature, and states the study objectives, clearly articulating the purpose and theoretical rationale. Variables must be defined, and the hypotheses should be formally presented.
In the Method section, describe in detail how the study was conducted. Include a description of the participants, specifying how they were selected and assigned. Report key demographic characteristics such as sex, age, race/ethnicity, etc. Describe the instruments or materials used and their role in the study. Identify any specialized equipment that was utilized. In the Procedure subsection, summarize each step involved in carrying out the research. Include participant instructions, group formation procedures, and describe randomization, counterbalancing, and other design features.
In the Results section, summarize the data collected as well as the analyses performed to support your conclusions. Ensure that all figures and tables referenced in the text are clear, informative, and appropriately labeled.
In the Discussion, highlight the theoretical implications of the findings and assess the validity of the conclusions. Emphasize the relevance and impact of the results.
References must conform to the guidelines of the APA Publication Manual. All in-text citations must be included in the reference list, and all items in the reference list must correspond to citations in the text. At least 80% of references should be current, relevant, and include a URL or DOI.

If appendices are included, they must be numbered in the text in the same order in which they appear at the end of the manuscript.
Theoretical Articles
Maximum length: 15 pages, including figures. Theoretical articles must address topics of interest within the priority areas of educational psychology. The objective of the article must be clearly stated, and the development of the topic must be directly related to that objective, based on prior theoretical or empirical work. Conclusions should clearly derive from the arguments supported throughout the manuscript.
Technical Reports
Maximum length: 10 pages, including references, tables, and diagrams. These reports describe innovative professional experiences aimed at advancing or transforming applied aspects of educational psychology. The objectives of the intervention must be clearly presented, and the procedures and results must demonstrate an explicit and coherent connection to the stated objective.
Reviews and Critiques
Book or Thesis Reviews
Maximum length: 5 pages. Reviews should address the merits of the book and clearly state its contribution to the advancement of Educational Psychology.
Research Reviews
Length: 3 to 8 pages. These reviews should provide an analysis and discussion of a recent and concise body of literature on a specific topic that offers a meaningful contribution to the field of Educational Psychology.
