Abstract

Literature and empirical experience demonstrate that attention to People with Functional Diversity (PwFD) has focused on academic and family processes, grief and recently, resilience; nevertheless, deficit perspective still prevails. That is why, telling "other story" is proposed, starting from paradigms of functional diversity and positive psychology, to analyze wellbeing.

For this matter, a poll designed from PERMA theory was applied; alongside semistructured interviews with PwFD intellectual, their relatives and teachers, that allowed to deepen in the analizis of the dimensions of wellbeing.

In the test, the dimensions with better evaluation were positiverelationships and meaning. Althought, in the interviews the most representative were involvement and positivity.
